Cathy Cassidy, M.A., MS., LCPC

Cathy's work in the mental health profession began in 2003. She
provides individual therapy to the adult population. Her education consists of two master's degrees; one in Counseling Psychology and the other in Forensic Psychology. The counseling psychology component allows her to provide therapy in a more traditional talk style and the Forensic Psychology enables her to specialize in psychology within the legal system, such as: working within prisons, jails, courts, parole, and probation.
Cathy specializes in various types of trauma including Physical and emotional abuse, sexual abuse, assault, molestation, and incest. Additionally, she focuses on depression, anxiety, and issues surrounding adjusting to new situations.
Cathy's work experience includes psychotherapy treatment, comprehensive assessments, crisis intervention, attorney
consultations, educational briefings related to mental heath for correctional staff within jails/prisons and active duty and retired military members, and court-ordered sex offender evaluations and treatment.
